The Gay OchoFestival is a Hispanic diversity driven cultural arts, human rights, and entertainment community festival. Now in its 6th successful year, the festival takes place annually in the historic and culturally enriching "Little Havana" neighborhood of Miami. With activations such as a "Pa'lante Awards" event designed to honor community heros, and cultural arts events where spoken word and perfomance art are exhibited; a showcase of community films; a neighborhood driven fashion show; live music and dance parties, and business enhancement opportunities to engage with local shop owners and street vendors; there is something for everyone! Gay8 is designed to bring people from all racial, ethnic, religious, cultural, sexual and gender identities together to honor and celebrate our shared experiences. The event strives to build a lasting bridge that will bring solidarity to our communities and forge a union that will unite us all for generations to come. It invites all to #LiveYourStoryHere
